HUB highlighted by BU's Student Newspaper

In a recent article done by the Boston University's Daily Free Press , BU Senior Javier Melendez shares his thoughts on the Brotherhood's new initiative, Hope for Undegrads in Boston. "“I am extremely excited for the work they are about to undertake…They are now being called to serve the greater Boston community and to think that they will be serving so many other students in the same way that they served us and I can only say that I am excited for those students that will encounter them.”

Cardinal Commissions Brotherhood to Back Bay

Cardinal Seán O`Malley has had a hope to expand outreach to college students ever since his arrival to Boston. In a new initiative, resulting from this inpsiration, the Brotherhood will be expanding it's mission of campus ministry to the nearly 60,000 students who study in the Back Bay of Boston. "The Brotherhood's expertise and vision will be of invaluable assistance with this initiative," writes Cardinal Seán, "I am profoundly grateful for all the Brotherhood has done..." And the St. Paul Award goes to... Br. Joseph Donovan!

Congratulations to Br. Joseph Donovan, who received the St. Paul Award from the Archdiocese of Boston for his outstanding work with young adults! The St. Paul Award along with many others are given by the Archdiocese in order to "recognize and honor the grace of God powerfully at work in the lives of the youth and young adults and those who serve them."

Your presence renews, rejuvenates and gives new energy to the Church.” How true this message is from Pope Benedict XVI’s letter for World Youth Day 2011! The Catholic Extension Missionary Society sees and recognizes this need as it seeks to aid the Church in its’ mission towards youth. The Catholic Extension recently interviewed Br.
