Bridging the College Faith Gap

When a college freshman first walks onto campus they often encounter challenges that can pull them away from practicing their faith. In an interview with The National Catholic Register Br. Joe Donovan speaks on the importance of connecting with freshman: "Reaching out to freshmen and helping them get connected or stay connected to their faith through relationships with other students involved in the ministry is a primary goal of the Brotherhood of Hope’s ministry, as is encouraging students to move into leadership".

The Brotherhood of Hope’s New TV Series – Hope on Campus!

“What happens when you combine reality TV, college students and campus ministers? Well, it's bound to be different, whatever else it may be. It's no surprise then that CatholicTV's newest series, Hope on Campus, may raise a few eyebrows from unsuspecting viewers. The 13-Part series explores the life of the Brotherhood of Hope, a community of Catholic brothers based in Boston, and their vibrant ministry to Catholic college students on secular campuses.”

Vocations to the Brotherhood Supported by the Labouré Society

The Labouré society seeks to foster vocations by providing financial assistance and spiritual support to individuals pursuing a call to priestly and/or religious life. Recently in their newsletter the Society featured articles on two members of the Brotherhood of Hope, Br. Adam Neri and Associate Brian Flangan. Executive Director Cy Laurent, writing on the vocation of brother stated, “Thanks be to God for the Brotherhood of Hope, and the countless other religious brothers over the millennia, for their service to the Church we love so passionately”. Much thanks to the Labouré society for their support of vocations to the Brotherhood of Hope!

Br. Adam Neri Professes Final Vows!

This July Br. Adam Neri made his final vows in the Brotherhood of Hope! Bishop Paul Bootkowski of the Diocese of Metuchen, who attended the mass of Br. Adam's vows told the congregation, “For us as a diocese, this is a wonderful experience and a wonderful occasion for Brother Adam, who has worked with us for the last few years and did a wonderful job. For that we are most appreciative, Adam”.
